PINEVIEW TRAILS

The Pineview Recreational Trails Pilot Project is a collaborative initiative between cycling-focused not for profit organizations lead by the Kamloops Performance Cycling Centre (KPCC), the business sector (led by KGHM-Ajax), and the municipal and provincial governments (City of Kamloops and the Province-FLNRO).
Although where these trails are established have a cross section of private ownership and designated usages, there is a shared commitment to integrating responsible recreational activities.
This agreement is a step towards ensuring the long-term viability and legacy of ranching, one of the central land uses that has sustained Kamloops for over a century, while reinforcing the strong recreational culture of the area. Pineview is the perfect place for this to occur.
With close to 50 K of trails available all built and maintained Pineview is the perfect placed to enjoy for riders in Kamloops. The East side is open season round and the West side has a seasonal closure until July 1st which is ideal for the hot days of summer as the area tends to hold a little more moisture and provide some shade to be a little less hot. Fun for all abilities.
